I was born and educated in the UK, before moving to to the USA, Ilving and working there for many years. My writing journey began in the UK when I was still in my teens, starting with "letters to the editor" and creating newsletters for a local club magazine.  This was followed by monthly columns as the British correspondent for an American specialty magazine.

Since then I have been a writer of one kind of another both as an employed writer or as a self employed  freelancer. I have been a staff writer with no by-line on topics as varied as travel and tourism, real estate, and varied trade publications. Many columns and articles have been published under my own by-line as well.

My working language is English, but I am available to work with clients anywhere as I work remotely online. As a writer it is as important to me  as it is to an Editor - to provide clean copy, proof read and accurate - always keeping to deadlines. 

I am not a professional book editor (yet!) but can offer my services as a beta reader for those of you will be self publishing now and in the future. I have not yet writtenand published a book myself, but I am working on a collection of short stories and flash fiction. I do have a completed manuscript that I wrote a long time ago, but it was a children's story written in the style of tales of old when parents would read books to their children at night. It would, however, be a great project for animation and I can send the first chapter by e-mail if you are interested. It is a children's fantasy story with the lead character being a Gnome who performs magic. 

I provide a wide range of services from editing and proof reading  to newsletter creation and production. If you have been gathering notes for a personal memoire I can help. Whatever it is that you need, just write to me and ask.

I do not publish my phone number as I work online remotely and we may be in widely different time zones, so I prefer to schedule calls in advance to our mutual convenience.
